First I would try and reflash, what chip do you have?  Second, are you using pogos?

Okies i pulled it all apart and the way he installed it was to solder directly to the pins on the chip and then to the points on the board. I assume that if i had a wire off It wouldnt work at all, where as mine works somtimes and dosnt work othertimes.
