I just got a new xbox ver 1.3 and have soddered the 2 points fine and i'm ready to flash the new bios. I recently had a ver 1.1 and I was using the evox d.6 eject fix bios and it was a 1mb. Xbox ver 1.3 is a 256kb bios so can i use this same bios if i cut the size down to 256 because i've been told that these evox bioses were for specific versions of xboxs but as far as i know the size is the only thing different. I'm using the onboard bios of the xbox. So can I just cut this one down and flash it, if so then please recommend a good win prog to cut it. Thanx

Why worry using a old bios.

Download X2 4977 (is already 256k) and flash. (Maybe use xbtool to also chance colours ect , save as 256k)
