Yes it will work fine on the Chameleon, the bios is probably 1mb, not 1kb.  The Chameleon can hold a 1mb bios so it'll fit.

The 4977 BIOS is only 256k, but it's in a 1MB format because that'sthe 'standard' - in reality, it's the same BIOS repeated 4 times in the file.

Please read up in the X-S Tutorials page about this stuff. Your questions indicate extreme newbie syndrome. Allof these questions have been answered time and time again in the past.
