Flashing Top With Chip

hello, i've heard that it's possible to flash your tsop using a mod chip, so you can share it with a friend or something.  Is this true?  if this has already been explained and i'm sure it has many times if this meathod does exist, then i'm sorry.  If someone could tell me if this exists, how to do it, or a link to how to do it, that would be great.

yeah, i've been out of the loop with that lately though.  Before you had to do the 007 trick each time..... now you dont have to do you.  You scan install evox and run backups and stuff just like having a chip right?  i'll look into that
