Sounds like an X2/X2.1/X2.2Lite+. Thats an X2lite with pogo pins, so wires aren't needed. If you have external switches for it, one of them is for write protection. If it doesn't have external switches, it might have jumpers. The jumper on the far right (when the 3 jumpers are facing up) is for flash protection.
