Xecuter2 Pro And 4977
« on: July 08, 2003, 05:52:00 AM »

I've got my chip installed for quite some time and it all works well....

I have 1mb space for storing a bios, so I have filled this space with 2x 4976.2 and 2x 4977 (using Xecuter Bios Manager). When I set the switch to bios 1 or 2 (the 4976.2), the XBOX will start. When I set the bios to 3 or 4 (the 4977) the XBOX refuses to start....

So I'm working with the 4976.2 bios for some time. But I felt stupid, so I flashed bios 1 (previously working good on the 4976.2 bios) with a normal 4977 bios (using the flasing option in Evox). After restart the XBOX did nothing but flashing the LED's!?

So I set the switch to 2 (4976.2), restarted and was back in the game. While the XBOX was on, I switched back to bios1 (4977), and started BiosChecker 2.1. This program said that I had the 4977 bios (that's right). But even after a restart I got the same problem: flashing of the LED's (although I've used the default 4977 bios)...

What's wrong?
