I want to know what bios i have so i ftp'd my bios to my pc and used xbtool to open the bios and it said the following:

EvolutionX D.6 Eject Fix
BIOS MD5: 0x5bb8a4eda1ada250946496af4048d93c

Is that what bios i have and if so how do i get my xbox to display it instead of unknown bios.

add that MD5 hash to your evox.ini. its somewhere near the bottom, its hard to miss.

But how can i tell if i have bios 4977 or below. I do not have 4977 because i still have to patch some games when i play from xbox hard drive.

You have an evolutionx d6 bios, hence the "EvolutionX D.6 Eject Fix" name.  This bios doesn't do any auto-patching, only the Xecutor 4976 - 4977 bioses do that.

yup just switch on over to any of the latest x2 bioses. and then copy the hash file provided in this forum...

I have got the Xecuter2.Build.4977 bios and it said it is a multi bios. I was told to use flashx to fash my chip but the bios that come with flashx is 4976.02. Do i delete the 4976 and put 4977 in its place then burn to cdrw.
