Boot F Drive

Just make your own and stop being such a pussy about it, the chances of making a duff BIOS are very very low indeed, especially if you use XBtool. And if you do make a duff BIOS and have a bad flash who cares, its easily fixed and not the end of the world.

And they dont host them because there is no need to host them, people make their own, all you need is a virgin BIOS, and now with the new features of XBtool the BIOS doesnt even need to be that anymore.

Editing a bios with xbtool is easy and safe. I never produce a corrupted bios.
Dont waste time looking for the modded bios of your dream. Take a virgin bios, use xbtool and set the options you want (by the way I boot on F too).

However, bad flashing could happen. It did happen much more with the previous version of evox.
It occured once to me, I was glad to have an external flasher !

Flashing the X2Lite/Pros can be sometimes a little flaky with Evox.  Spare yourself the worry and get FlashX (by Team Executer).  It was written by them specifically for flashing the X2's.  You can find it in the "usual" places.

Making F boot bios' with XBTool is not that hard.  I've made so many and not one problem.

I find it faster and more effective to flash new bios from Evox. Programmer sometimes picky on cable length, and erasing and writing bios takes times. With Evox and a little tweak on the evox.ini configuration with bios folder with several bios inside make flashing so much faster than programmer. It less than 3 minutes to flash the chip. Booting from F is a ease if you use Xbplorer. I have tried to launch avalanche,Nexgen, menux within evox and no problem. The only problem is when trying to move and boot Gentoo linux from E to F. Just my 2 cents.  smile.gif
