you can just use the that port that plugs into it(don't no the name of it)

try removing the port thing that came with the chip from wherever you installed it on the xbox. then hook it up to your computer and leave it attached. next take the long cable that attaches it and your mod chip and run it up the side of the xbox and reinstall your dvd drive and hard drive. when you want to flash it, just connect this cable to the adapter hooked onto your computer, and when you're not flashing it just tuck it in between the dvd drive and side of the xbox and it should leave enough room to reassemble the cover. hope this helps.

i doubt that would work for very long since the Ribbon cable that comes with the X2.2 is only like 3 inches long and it is VERY fragile.

i bought an 8 foot cable at office depot and that didnt work

so i bought a 6 foot cable from radio shack and it worked great!
