I did the same thing, changed my boot to "evox.xbe" just in case of emergencies.

never hurts to be cool, AND prepared!

Perfect solution :-

Have bank one with BIOS booting to autorun.xbe and have bank two booting to default.xbe.

This way a flick of a switch and your never screwed.

Vtex's solution is elegant, functional, and safe.  As to the xISOs that I've already burned... they still run through Evox.  I just put a menu option for "d:default.xbe" or the appropriate @ command (I forget what it is right now).  And all I really need for an emergency situation is an Evox disc with the default.xbe renamed to bootnow.xbe or autorun.xbe or whatever it's been changed to.  Or, just go with Vtex's dual bios solution.
