"it doesn't work" could mean anything.  Maybe it doesn't boot.  Maybe it booted to the MS BIOS.  Maybe it frags.  Maybe it gives you a service error.  Is this starting to make sense?

And are you positive you selected the right BIOS?  If you used EvoX, it wouldn't show in the menu unless you added the hash to evox.ini.  I think you may have selected the old green-LED BIOS in your haste.
