Can you atleast tell us what the problem was?

(for the bios.bin cd you just have to make a regular data cd...  is that what you finally did?)

HAHAAHAH as a modder myself if i would have seen this topic days ago i would have helped... the linux bios he has is a new one. which means it need only the bios file in the CD.
for chameleon its linuxbio.bin
i dont remember what it is for linux for the pros are. but you would put the bios name in the root of the CD. so only the bios is there.

Ha. Finally I got this piece of shitzit to work. I could not use the CD to load up the bios since Cromwell bios never loaded after so many power on/off and reboots.

Here's the trick to loading the bios via LPT using X2MB. New version of X2 2.2 pro is lil diff. from X2.1 lite. When you flash the bios with x2 2.1 lite, you have to turn off all the dip switches and the chip will still have power and you can flash the bios via lpt using X2MB.

With X2 2.2 pro. You have to enable the chip, of course, to get power and turn On only one of the four dip switch. Does not matter which one you turn on, you must at least turn one switch on. Fill up all the banks in X2MB and write.....

Disconnect the lpt and leave the switches setting to the way it is, power off and boot with evox Boot CD. You will have your shitzit ready in no time.

That's all..........
