Matrix Bios?

What are all the bios that are compatible with a Matrix modchip?? thanx ... is it all 256k bios or what??

All 256k bios are compatible.  I'd recomend the x2 4977, its the newest bios out there.  Currently the only bios that doesnt work on the matrix is the 512k debug bios.

X2 4977 will butt heads with Mode 3 (is this the one where you eject to get back to the TSOP BIOS?) in the Matrix because of the Eject Fix.  If you use Mode 3, then use 4976.02 instead - it is the same BIOS, but without the Eject Fix.

Its for disabling the chip, say if you wnat to use xbox live.

No, in Mode 1 the chip is on all the time.
