It's been forever since I last did this, so I'm having trouble remembering what is needed to get the bios to work.
This is what I have been using and works.
1024K.evx2.5.colormod.err.noani.evox.bin
evoxdash.xbe and xboxdash.xbe

I'm wanting to use X2 4799.bin.
I also went here:

and udated my bios list in the evox.ini file.

Well when I flash my openbox chip (works every time) I restart and get the green and red flashing light. I then flash the chip with the 1024K.evx2.5.colormod.err.noani.evox.bin, and the xbox works again. I've tried other bios with the same outcome. Like I said, I haven't messed with the bios for a while, but I'm guessing I don't have a clue why I can't get it to work. Does anyone know what my problem is. Aside from the fact I'm stupid right now.

I'm guessing he's using an external programmer since he recovered so easily from a FRAG.

Also, you have a 1MB BIOS...are you using a PC Bioxx? I think that BIOS you're using was long since outdated by the time the X2 hit. I could be wrong.

I'm flashing through the openbox program that came with the chip. So I can only use the 1MB bios and not the 256, 512? Is that right. That very well may be my problem cause I keep trying the 256K bios. I tried the Multiple 256/512bios to 1mb

But every time I try to mutiple the bios, it just continues in an infinite loop.
