There is an issue with the X2 igr when the network cable is plugged in.  After the first time you use igr the next app or game that is launched locks up while loading.

I've used all versions of xbmp from beta 5 to latest cvs build of 2.4 on everything from xecuter 1 through to all the x2 bios's and not one of them has reset when in xbmp.
I'm confused....

I was confused too , but then I figured if you dont have a harddrive than XBMP from disc would be a pain in the butt without the eject trick..  smile.gif

I haven't had any problems with X2 IGR.. since X2 IGR came out.   wink.gif

EDIT: And my network cable is plugged in 24/7

I highly HIGHLY doubt the network cable has anything to do with the IGR freezing.  I, too, have mine plugged in 24/7 and haven't experienced any problems.  It's far more likely that it is something else, like EvoX's IGR.  After all, EvoX keeps an open network connection...the X2 BIOS has nothing to do with the network.

Why are people talking about the xecuter bios's resetting with xbmp???

I've used all versions of xbmp from beta 5 to latest cvs build of 2.4 on everything from xecuter 1 through to all the x2 bios's and not one of them has reset when in xbmp.

When you're running a program while using a non-E/F BIOS, it won't reset if run from the HDD, but it will reset if run from the DVD-ROM drive.  The EvoX dash works the same way.  The E/F makes it so it will not reset ever.

Man this BIOS screwed my Xbox...turned out i had to flash my BIOS to the old original one via the Matrix Programmer....aligning the Matrix the second time was WAY easier than the first...the first time it took like 5 minutes...this time it was like 5 seconds!

yes, good on ya, but a few people have, i never said it was a problem everyone had and its not really decided what causes it, it seems to be a problem common with v1.1 consoles tho as can be seen by the people with this problem in its own thread.

and Xeero, its hard to say that the network cable doesnt cause it when IGR freezes most times with it plugged in, however works flawlessy when you unplug the cable  blink.gif

yes .. hopefully we will narrow it down to xbox version ,  mod chip used, or TSOP , ect ...   so we can get a fix ...

It might be helpfull if everyone who had a problem and didn't have a problem stated xbox version and mod chip or TSOP they have ... and dashboard, ect

I have  3 1.1 xbox's, TSOP's,  all samsung dvd's, 120gig samsung hd's, evolx latest version,  all igr turned off in system settings (in 3 places) ... and use bios's igr ...  my cable is in 24/7  and no problems whatsoever!
