I have no idea mate, when i flashed mine it was like this....


Programmer plugged directly into back of PC, chip was enabled, set to bank2 and obviously flash protection was off. I was also using the USB for power.

Oh and make sure you flick that little switch so it uses USB or whichever source you have as power, i forgot to change that on mine and took me alittle while to realise, but other than that i have no idea what to tell you, sorry.

Giggy your chip is dead.. see if your seller will replace it for you.. i just had the same problem.

It cant be dead chip...I have 3 diff chips that worked before I tried to flash them..all were X2 lites...

well mines were x2.1 lites.. i flashed one before that with no problems.. programmer is conencted right to printer port..  2nd wont let me flash.. nothing to get pissed about.. i thought..shit happens.. i contacted my SMT and they told me send it back..

today i got 3 new 2.1 chips from RoyalModchips..  flashed all 3 no problems.. all flashed 100%..
