Upgrading Bios On Cheapmod?

I dont know if its possible for your chip, but just make a folder called bios on whichever partition you boot from, typically C. put your new bios file in there, then select flaash bios from the evo-x menu.

its ok to flash as long as your chip does not have some kind of flash protection built into the design

You wont lose your xbox, just make sure you flash using the newest version of evo-x, one of the older versions has a bug in it and will fuckup flashing.

biggrin.gif ... it doesn't have flash protection... so im going to download the new bios... now i wanna know how to flash from evox...  i dont have the flash option in my dashboard (evox 3752)... ohmy.gif

The max flash size is 256 for my chip...

Go download evo-x again then, it should be a standard part of the default menu in the evox.ini

Hey whats up guys, got slayers evo d6 dash and i thought it had the flash on it, i guess i was wrong my ? is which is the newest bios to use with the matrix chip??

Use the X2-4976.02 BIOS, its by far the best.
