Problems When I Take The Pin Off

hi i have an executer 2 lite and when i take off the bios pin off the chip it doesntstart up plz help...

well when i take off the bios jumper which it says is needed to be off to flash the bios when i press the power button it starts up and right a way shuts back down(NOTHING HAPPENS)
uhhh as for my specs i have:
Executer 2 lite, 30 gig hdd, newest evox, and my current bios version is executer II 1.947 i belive thnx for any help...

oh yeah and when i put the jumper back on it works fine.....

Okay, this sounds fishy. So you say that when you remove the "flash protection jumper" - then press the power button, it powers up then completley powers down? Correct?

1) Which jumper (from left to right with prongs facing at you) did you remove?

2) Also, Is this the first time that this has happened, or something that just started?

3) Is your hard drive locked?

hmmm its the one all the way to the left.....it says bios next to it and im not sure it my hdd is locked i never did anything but use slayers and upgrade to a bigger hdd

Okay, don't remove that one, remove the one all the way to the right that says "Flash" then try to boot. Let me know...

ok sweet the flash label was hidden by the ribbon ok so now where can i download X-ecuter2 v4976.02 because i have evox d.6 and i jus was looking at the comparison and its so much better....
