Has anybody tried downgrading from 4976 to 4975 or 4974 to see if the problem goes away?

Mine starting freezing when I upgraded to 4976.  In my efforts to troubleshoot I made a bad flash and now am waiting for a X2 programmer so I can start playing again.

Mine freezes too, haven't looked at the problem in detail yet.

It does seem to be the case that it will freeze within a couple minutes after playing/xbmp, then I shut down and boot it up again and it works for a long time.
Therefor heating doesn't seem to be the problem, as the box should get hotter the longer it runs.

I play NHL2K3 with the network cable plugged in and it freezes during gameplay but if I remove the network cable I never get a crash.

I'm running a xbox 1.0 with Xecuter2 Pro 4976.02

What version of XBMP are you all using?
CVS versions or the 2.3 complex release?

I have the complex and have aboslutely no problems with crashing/freezing.
(version 1 box)

Try unplugging the network cable out of the back of the xbox when playing ripped games. And turning off IGR. Maybe turn off RDTOOLS. I dont even know what it does anyways.

Ok I think we figured the network thing out a few times in this thread. Now let's try to figure out why the network is acting up.

My bet is currently on a CVS build of XBMP.

anyone?
