Does anyone know if x2 is or CAN implement a bios with the longfile name fix as avalaunch did? this would be so convenient so i would not have to load avalaunch all the time to upload mp3's (most of mine have long file names that i dont wanna change).

In order to implement the long filename feature properly (i.e. not like Avalaunch, which simply names the file shorter and leaves a 'pointer file'), a new filesystem would have to be used. I don't know how hard it'd be to 'extend' the current FatX filesystem, but I do know it'd be nigh impossible to implement a more 'mainstream' FS from the ground up (like NTFS).

neither does win98/win95 - but the user doesn't know that.  It's the user experience that counts.
