Can Any Xbmp Or Xbmc Play .swf Files?

as the topic says... im just wondering if there is any XBMP or XBMC or app that can play .swf files which are flash movies for those who dont know..

There is an app dedicated to playing sfw files, forget the name of it though.

XBMP/XBMC can not play them and support for it is not planned in the near future.

swfx and swfxplayer.

No sound, no interactivity, but it's all that's out there at the moment. Read the readme file for usage info (it's clunky).

can flash files be converted to .mov or .avi files and then played on XBMC?

flash can be converted to video. i did it successfully with this tool. note that for mov conversion you will need to install quicktime alternative codec
