now would be a good time to take the time to upgrade, instead of waiting for an answer............ its already been longer than the total upgrade time.

I'm sure it has been longer than installation would have taken me, but as I got another person to originally install EvoX / XBMP and that person is now unavailable, I'm a total n00b and a bit afraid that I'll fry my console if I try to update it. I have a crossover cable, so in theory I should be able to connect via FTP, but I'll need to find a website/forum that will explain how to update XBMP to XBMC. Wish me luck!
