I used the Slayer program to format my new HDD and install my apps. Everything was working fine till I changed the screen settings in XBMP. I changed the settings to 4:3 ratio and I am pretty sure that caused my eeprom to reset or just get screwed up. I turn the box on and it will boot to the xbox logo then the xecuter2 logo will appear on the bottom then the box turns itself off then back on and boots to the xbox log and Xecuter2 logo where it turns off and back on only to continue the cycle. I tried to reflash and tried to use the Slayer disc but the box resets before it can read.
with the chip off I can boot to the default Xbox dash.
Is there any way I am able to ftp into the box from the xbox dash to fix the eeprom. I have a full back up of the old hdd, all files and eeprom.
Is there any fix or is my xbox and hdd a paper weight?
