hi! I've always used xbmp 2.2, because it's the last version which can copy ALL the .avi file on the hard disk before showing it (called caching), and this has a GUI too (very simple really, it shows only the % of caching)
The problem is that 2.2 has some problem with new codecs.
The question is: can I MANUALLY upgrade codecs of my xbmp 2.2?
or
Can I have a 100% caching on 2.4?

This because I have a samsung 616T that is very noisy!
