Playing Videos From Hdd
« on: March 13, 2004, 10:49:00 AM »

Hi.

I have the same problem. Basically the XBMP default drive is the E Drive so you need to somehow convert it to read the F drive (this is why nothing saved on the HD shows up)

I don't know how to do it myself, but check the thread i just made and hopefully someone will help.

Make the following folders on your F or E or whatever drive...

*:\Videos
*:\Music
*:\Pictures

Then copy all the corresponding media to its folder..
Withing XBMP's config.xml edit the location under the appropriate media..
iE: for videos go to the video section of the xml look for the one that says "HDD" and edit it's link to point to *:\Videos (* = your drive)

Then go into XBMP and click videos then HDD - there they lie waiting to be played.

You need to edit the config XML, just the same way you would edit an emulator's .ini or what have you.
