What you did shouldn't have created too many problems.
I'd reccomend reflashing your chip.
However, do you access your MS Dash with the modchip off or on?
It may also be issues with the settings of your EvoX now. Are you running it from a CD/DVD or off the HDD ?

reflash your bios and check the boot pattern using XBTool! maybe m$ dash is set to boot before evox.... after you reflash your chip reinstall slayers just in case any files got screwed up
