i can anybody help me i downloaded xbox media player abd copied on to xbox harddrive as i normally do when i try and run it it freezes on the loading screen, when i try and run the .xbe through dvd-xbox it freezes on a black(loading?) screen. it is version beta 6 with the stream thingy any help would be greatly appriciated.

that xbmp version you dloaded, does it have a default .xbe?
is .ini under apps set correct? like this
Section "Apps"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\apps\"
         AutoAddItem "f:\apps\"
         SortAll

yeah it has. i have tried running it from the menu and from just selecting the default.xbe file in the dvd-xbox hdd viewer

the easy way!
ftp all xbmp file to a folder called apps ( in e, f or g ) which partition you store all your stuff and evox.ini will find it.
autoadditem iset correct (look above)
reboot xbox. voila, tht should do.
if not, you`re doing something wrong, post what you`ve done.
