try extracting the movie file off the disc and FTPing it onto ur xbox and see if it plays off the hdd

well when burning movies you really should burn them slow and make sure your disk is clean...sometimes you get a shitty release as well...same rule goes for music ... i dont think they want you to chat about this stuff here though...i wasnt even here lol....whats an svcd ...good luck

I didn't burn it though, i just extracted the bin and streamed it to my xbox, i even tried putting it on the xbox hdd. It cant be a bad release cuz it works on my pc fine.

this sounds like a codec problem.  Stuff you download could be encoded by who knows what these days.  They might play fine on your computer, but XBMP might try to read it differently.  I would try to convert the video file to a different format.  I'm not sure what's out there as far as free converting software goes, but I use Sonic Foundry's "Vegas Video 4".  it's great for video work.
