Can't really figure out what you are trying to do here. Do you want to share a folder called music directly on your C: drive on your PC? If so this should look like this in your config file

   <share>
       <name>Network (XNS)</name>
       <url>C:\[email protected]</url>
       <cachesize>256</cachesize>
   </share>

If you put this under the music, videos, or whatever ypu plan to share in your  config file.

If you run relax and serve up the same folders there, this should work.

If not, please post your config file, and say more specfically what you are trying to do, ie what types of files you are sharing, the name of the folder you want to share and its location.

By putting in the Root for music it will show everything under the MUSIC heading in your Relax server program.  So in your example, you would see 3 folders.

There is also a function if you go into the properties of the Music folder in Relax to 'squash' or combine the subfolders in some way (I forget what the checkbox is called).  This apparently displays the contents of all the subfolders - meaning that you wouldn't see your 3 folders but instead see all of their contents when you access the Root.

Does that help in any way?  I nuse the Root command in mine.

maybe try CCXgui, seems more easy, just to drag and drop the folder to the panel. I have been using relax, but the latest version of xbmc have some load problem. so finally i switch to ccxgui
