I have had my MP3 collection for many years now, and I know that about 99% of them are perfect, in fact the rest I haven't really checked thoroughly. I've installed ccxstream on my Windows 2000 computer that sits in the corner headless w/ no kb or mouse, its only purpose is to serve MP3s. I access it via Remote Administrator over my 100mbit network. MP3 loading times are phenomenal over ccxstream compared to RelaX but, every song skips. I thought maybe it was the CPU load of having Remote Admin running (only 500mhz cpu), so I closed my remote session, and it still does skips, on every song I've tried. When I actually got something to load with RelaX, it was fine, never skipped or blipped or nothing. When it skips, it sounds kinda like a "blip" or "blup".
Any suggestions as to what I could do?
