Movies And Imdb?

Ahh, that's what is happening then - they were coming up awfully fast.  No one has yet solved this issue here.  Has anyone bothered to post/search on the XBMP forums?

I guess I will head to the XBMP forums. I can't live without this feature.

Seems nothing is being done about this problem on the XBMP forums either. Are we to believe support is entirely discontinued for XBMP in preparation for XBMC?

Edit: XBMP Forums - IMDB Invalid URL

XBMC 3-9-04 will fix your problems. SMB shares are rock solid and easy to config. RW and FF are nice and solid now. There is hardly any reason to continue using XBMP.

3-9-04 hit black button twice for video progress and overall completion. The FF and RW can hit 32X, works better if file is on HDD not SMB. Still works great though.

EDIT: Press the white button not the black button for video progress, press the white button a second time to show completion%.

Not sure if you are looking for an automated solution, but hitting INFO on the remote control after highlighting a movie when in videos queues the IMDB.  It pulls all the info and gives you the option to save a thumbnail (it does not however save all the details only the thumbnail).
