Multiple Avi On Dvd-r
« Reply #1 on: December 27, 2003, 07:19:00 AM »

Hi,
I've burned about 60+ videos onto dvd-r most of which are in avi or mpeg format. The max size of any one file is about 230 megs or so although most are less than 100 MB. Some files do not play with XBMP while others do (Just returns back to main menue after brief pause). Furthurmore, these files which do not play on XBMP work fine on XBMC (some not all). I've burned with Nero in UDF mode with Force XBOX Compatibility Checked. Any possible solution?
Thanks in advance,
Anushian

Thx for the response bbjk. I tried playing the video direct from HD using XBMC and it plays fine. So its a problem with the way I burned? Or possible media? If its the way I burned can any offer any alternatives?
Thanks

But I guess itll be worth it to find a sure fire way of getting all my avi's to play

EDIT: RecordNow Max v. 4.5 does not recognize by LG 4040B Burner. I cant find the 4.6.1 update anywhere and upgrading the PX Engine did nothing. The RecordNow by Sonic doesnt seem to have the same interface as Stomp RecordNow so I dont think that will work out the same.

Does anyone have any detailed instructions on what to do with Nero 6? Or maybe where to find the 4.6.1 update for RecordNow Max?
