That's a how to I wrote a while ago that no one seemed to care about (damn XBMC taking the lime light). Please search in future though, I don't think I could have made the topic title any more obvious.

The error I made when making the how to, was that I was changing settings under the wrong area. Make sure your changing under the appropriate config (ntsc, pal, widescreen, 4:3) otherwise it'll appear as nothing has changed.
Also a silly mistake, but one that can happen. Make sure to reset your Xbox for the changes to be made and also be sure that you are displaying true type subs and not mplayer.

That signifies NTSC-fullframe. So if that's what you use then edit under that. If not then just find the appropriate one for you.
There is then a part under each television type that says:

Truetype subtitle parameters      360,460      23      0XFFFFFFFF

(Forget the values, the tags should be like that though).
Then merely change the position (width,height) to your desired. You may need to do some trial and error for your tv.
