I am trying to get video in on my xbox or the appearance of such.

My logic for the architecture is

1 PC with Video capture card that continually writes what ever channel or video in source you have to a file  : Done

2, XBOX open file that PC is writing and display it at the same time PC writes in real time or 5 minutes  behind or anywhere in the file (rewind fast forward etc) depending on what I am trying to do.  (challenge havent worked out yet)

3, I need to be able to send a command from XBOX to PC saying I have changed channels and start writing to the file for that channel instead and xbox to start reading this file. hmmm VNC would be good for Linux but really need to get to work in XBMP
