Xbmp V2.4 Not Work On Dvd's

I've just installed xbmp v2.4 using Slayers installer.  It worked fine when playing files from the hard disc.  However it could not play anything from the dvd drive.  The eject button turned solid orange when using xbmp.  The dvd's worked fine when using other software.  I did not have this problem when using previous version of xbmp.  Please help.
