Playing Movies Off The Hdd

Hi guys i when to buy a movie yesterday and i save it to my HDD. Now i can play it straight from my Hdd but it is only in another language it is not playing in english so how do i change that  has anyone have messed with that part yet.  If you did how did you change it to english. Their voice is in french and i don't speak french i only speak english, and spanish. So maybe you can help me out how to change to english setting on the movie.

while the movie is playing press 'y' and go into the audio setting and switch the audio stream

Ok what i did is i copy the entire movie to the HDD then i started playing it by following the list of of VOB and it work but now is that i messed with all the buttons and i try to change the language to english but nothing happen so i kind of got distress with it. i follow the tutorial they have on other tutorials which tells you what file you should copy but  for myself i copy the entire movie and now i just want to watch it but able to listen to it in english not french.

I've found that not all VOBs can change the audio stream.. or specifically if the audio is french and I try changing the audio stream it stops the clip and doesnt change the stream. In one particular case I only had 2 out of the 5 VOBs where i could change the audio stream... Maybe its a DVD2XBOX issue?? though I have the latest release of that

same here i have the lastest version of it and i thought it will make it default playing the movie and sound to english instead of another language. Well i hope if i am not able to work wit i will just see what else i can do. well thanks guys but if anyone else got it working with other movies maybe you can help me out but i will keep trying to make it work.

you could cut the languages out of the movie its self.  takes about 30mins and also saves ya some space usually a few hundred megs or so.

this is how i edit my dvds.  first you need your dvd files (ifo,bup,vob) on your pc hdd.  either ftp em if your xbox is networked or you can rip em on your pc with dvddecrypter or whatever program.

use ifoedit to open your ifo file.  notice a button called VOB Extras is down on the bottom in the middle.  this feature aswell as many others, will allow you to cut any audio layer (5.1, 6ch, DTS, FRENCE/SPANISH...) and also subtitles if you wanted.  takes about one min to set everything up and 20-30mins to strip the bullshit out.

also any know if you can make a playlist for the vobs or how i could play the movie continusly with having to load each vob,  thx
