how do you burn a dvd for XBMP to read it so you can watch it

u don't, u can encode a dvd to divx on the pc and then ftp it to the right folder and play it with xbmp.

Yeah i want to burn a DVD with DivX movies on it. If i used Nero 5 burning rom, what would the settings be to successfuly create a bootable disc for the Xbox to recognize it?

Doesn't need to be bootable, just use a reliable media and browse it like you would any other directory

dry.gif Ok I want to burn a DVD with Divx Movies on it. I have tried it before but the xbox won't read it. I don't want them on the hd i want them on a DVD. How would i make a DVD, in Nero, that the xbox would read in Media Player?

biggrin.gifs... then edit the config.xml to point to the directory that you put your video on that dvd disk...
