jimmyc, try launching the RM XBMP from some other program like BoXplorer.

That's how I'm running it. I've got th 9-24-03 CVS as my dash with a copy in a temp directory that I replaced the XBE with the pacthed one. And I just go through BoXplorer to launch it. I figure I'll wait for it in a new CVS before actually replaceing the copy I use daily.

Can i just ask what files need to go in the dlls folder for this feature to work?

Rv9 codecs have backwards compatability dont they.

I got a Xbins Oct 13th build, havent successfully played my rm's yet. They just play like they used to. Rv8 video with no sound and no Rv9 at all.

EDIT: I got sick of waiting so decided to compile the CVS myself. I dont get any errors. It links fine and then just doesnt start.

I noticed my retail xbe was smaller than the last xbins build, i reckon whatevers missing is why it wont load.

.NET 2003 w/ 5558. Straight build of the vcproj aint enough.
