Xbmc Video Movie Playback Problem

Whenever i try to playback a movie off of a CD it plays the first ~1 second of it then fails back to the previous screen, anyone else having a simmilar problem? I'll be conducting more extensive tests later, (normal music CDs work fine and so do burnt MP3 CDs)
