How Can I Unlock And Protected Wmv?

I just downloaded a WMV from a site, but I didn't realize it said that I needed to buy "tokens" in order to play the video until I had finished the download. It took a long time to download so I don't want to waste my time getting it elseware. Is there any program that I can download to unlock the video so I can watch it in Windows Media Player?
