Laggy Audio In Hi-res Wmvs
« on: September 02, 2003, 12:07:00 PM »

Finally got the program on my Xbox and i'm fooling around with it.  Now hi-res quicktime files play perfect, but hi-res windows media files have laggy audio.  I'm just wondering is this to be expect or can I fix this with some setting changes.

For those who couldn't get .wmv to work this is how I go it working on mine.

#1 Download your dlls from here and make sure they're in the dll directoy of xbox media player, winrar can open up the file.Click here
wma9dmod.dll
wmadmod.dll
wmspdmod.dll
wmv9dmod.dll
wmvdmod.dll

#2 Open up your config.xml file (in xbmp) with note pad and look near the top and make sure it says this

Alternatively, you can point directly to where they belong to, such as f:/app/xbmp/imdb, but the above works for me

Should work fine smile.gif
