Problems With Large # Of Mp3 Files
« Reply #15 on: September 30, 2003, 03:19:00 PM »

I'm having a similar issue with relax.  I am sharing two directories, essentially my C drive and my D Drive.  I have about 60GB in my D and 1.5GB in my C.  Everything is broken up into pretty well managable subdirectories.  When I start it up I can imediatly see my subdirectories but when I try and access a subdir it freezes.  I tired simply putting a file in my main directory but it still freezes when I try to play it.  I wish I could figure out why.

Hopefully they fix SMB since I have it in place already anyway... Just seems kinda silly to put Relax on there when SMB SHOULD work...

I really don't think this is a problem with xbmp, but rather a problem with the SMB protocol.

Just go with what works best, and that is relax.
