wow i did the same thing only i had more of a problem cuz i had my bois set not to boot from dvd. another problem i had was after that happened my MXM wouldnt boot up so i couldnt ftp. so i installed my origonal xbox hd that had evox, i ftped in and set it up so the only evox opion was to flash my bios wit evox d.6. so i did a blind flash and thank god everything worked on that. after that i just popped the pal/ntsc selector disc in, hit B and bingo all back to normal.  i was freaking out

if you can't boot it from media just put it on your hard drive and name it evoxdash.xbe or msdash.xbe or whatever your box auto loads and it should work.. just make sure you back up the file to a different name so its not over written or something

But only do that if you have a evo-x (or similar) boot disk that you know works... otherwise you will not be able to FTP to your box.
