Newbie Needing Help Serrint Up Xbmp To Use Network

Hey guys, I jus got my xbox wrokin and all and i installed evox and xbmp using SlayerS. Now I want to watch videos off my network. I was looking at the config.xml file in xbmp and there seems to be an entry that allows xbmp to use regualr windows shared files (SMB). WHen I tried all three opions however (SMB, XNS, XBMSP) they all freeze my xbox. I tried installing relax but it still freezes. Also when setting up the gateway, the correct gateway is the gatway listed when i type ipconfig in dos promp on my reguilar computer correct? any help would be appreciated. thanks!
