Black Screen When Viewing Any Movie

i have xbmp 2.4, and everytime i try and run an .avi a .wmv, or an .mpg, it goes to a black screen and FREEZES! however it shows up on the list? can someone pelase help ? thanks.

p.s i also tried on xbmp 2.3 and still no luck

you running these files off the hd or streaming them?

i am using flashfxp to ftp them to my hdd in a folder called e:videos

they appear on the list but it gives me a black screen when clicking on them.

wel mr. for the love of god, it happens to be that calibrating the screen does not work!!!
or im just not doing it correctly? help please

ARe you able to see your pictures? I just had the same problem. I went  to calibrate the screen. The top left one was a little off. The bottom right was way off the screen. After I calibrated both I was able to see pics and videos.

Also make sure you delete the folder /E/TDATA/0face007 folder from the Xbox when upgrading or switching between XBMP releases.

Everytime I restarted I kept having to configure the screen. Deleting this and re-configuring the screen after new install or upgrade will keep you config settings.
