Set Up Network With Xbmp

sad.gif  I am going through a router if that makes any difference and have even tried putting the direct URL of the folder I wish to share on my computer, but still nothing happens when I go to "Network (XNS)" Also, I am using the RelaX guide pinned in this forum, even though it refers to v2.3 of XBMP. I am also using the v2.3 XBMP guide on the official website. Does this matter? Should I be using XBMP 2.3 instead fo 2.4?

Will RelaXwork  through a firewall and router? If so, should I use the actual IP of my computer or the "fake" one that is put out (I am not sure if this is due to Norton Internet Security or my router).

CODE

       Celeron's CD Drive
       smb://Workgroup/Celeron/CD/
       256

you might notice that I removed the username:password part.  that's cuz I don't use passwords on my computer.
"Workgroup" is my workgroup name.
"Celeron" is my computer name.
"CD" is what my CD drive is shared as in in Windows.

just make an entry for each shared folder on your computer.
piece of cake. smile.gif
