How Long Does It Take Xbmp 2.4 To Display A Pic?
« on: July 01, 2003, 03:09:00 AM »

All of my images are 2560 x 1920 and 2560 x 1720. They all usually run in the 2.5 mb range. I do not know the exact time but I would estimate somewhere between 1 and 2 seconds.

What cache size do you have set for images? Mine is set to 256.
I dont use thumbnails or divx so I cant comment there.

I would guess at a general network problem rather than a configuration problem. Are you connecting to your pc at 100Mb/s Full Duplex? I had my xbox connected to my pc through a hub which limited the connection to half-duplex. This made streaming data run terribly until I removed the hub. Worth looking into.

I dont use a router so I cant say if that is correct or not. It would seem to be. In my case I enter my pc ip address.
