Swapping Eeprom

Ok i have a broken motherboard and now a pretty much useless harddrive if i were able to get another motherboard could i swap the eeprom or tsop(don't know what it's called) chips to regain access to the harddrive? if so does any one have a picture of which chip to swap?

if you dont know which one is the EPROM, you shouldnt be doing it.

i assume it is the one just NE of the lpc points(looking from the front of the xbox), just wanting to confirm
