I have been trying to get thumbs to work for Relax folders. Like 'Movies' points to the movies folder on my PC, movies.tbn doesn't do the trick. So the rules for physical folders doesn't seem to apply...

QUOTE (cerbero @ Jun 9 2003, 08:58 PM)
I've been trying to get XBMP to display thumbnails for .cut-files, but I can't figure it out. For example, a shortcut is called EvolutionX.cut. I've tried naming the thumbnail both EvolutionX.tbn and EvolutionX.cut.tbn, without success. Is it even possible to have thumbnails for shortcuts?
Hope someone can enlighten me smile.gif

I've been trying to get this to work for some time now as well and have tried a lot of different solutions and none seem to be working...can anyone shed any light on the subject?

Hope this helps...

Edit..    Also dont forget to clear the system cache, as this sometimes causes the .tbn not to show up with .cut files

Ok...I changed the setting to not flatten the hiearchy and the tbn's worked for the cut files, but when I did that they don't show up for my utils or emulators anymore, doh!  So, can you either use tbn's for one or the other and not both?

Also, how do you clear your system cache?

clear the crap here-->  /E:/TDATA/0face007/  & here   /E:/UDATA/0face007/

Hmm well for the applications/emus you may aswell use  .tbn files as apps/emus are pretty permanent unlike games..

The only problem I find with flattening the hierachy is that the Game File Icons take at least 10-15 seconds to show up on a 120 gig  on a 60 gig it takes approx 6-7 secs which is very frustrating, hopefully this will be improved in the future,   what i`d really love to see is something as Radical as MXM  with video clips for games etc, now that is such a cool  looking dash.
