I got mine to work fine; first time I tried it, it said to check the recordingpath in config.  Then I just made new folders where config pointed.  It's pretty cool, it splits the songs up and names them and everything.

Oh, and of course, make sure this is in your config file in music:

Yep I had done all that...

I would prefer to access the .sc and .pls file from my samba share which I mainly do.  They play fine.

Had also set up a local copy as per your reference of the config and dropped the .sc and .pls file into that folder on the local e drive

But was still not presented with a record button or anything.

One thing, since I haven't seen a record button what should I expect?

Am I presented a button on the screen or do I use the remote or a controller to start recording the shoutcast station?

Note: when playing a station I get the song info at bottom of screen and the stream is perfect.   Station starts straight away in xbmp 2.4.

Got it all working even off the samba folder where I store my shoutcast files.

I deleted the xbmp folder and reinstalled it and added a new config.xml file...  And now it's all working..

Most likely a bad setting in the config.xml on my behalf or a corrupt transfer of one of the files to HD.

In addition I also created a share in music so I can play straight away without having to transfer to a samba share.
